Sheila has had her own business since 1988, first as a print designer, then on the web. She’s been designing in WordPress since 2009 with the benefit of visual theme frameworks. Sheila has volunteered at 5 WordCamps in various capacities. She’s pleased to be co-chairing this year’s event. When she isn’t using WordPress you will find her tandem cycling with her husband, and hanging out with her co-housing community.

Chandrika is a freelance WordPress developer who works with small business owners to help improve their presence on the web. She has been using WordPress for over 7 years. When she isn’t building WordPress themes or plugins, you can find her reading a book, working on a DIY craft project or spending time with her family.

Nichole is a WordPress Designer/Developer who works with coaches and solopreneur service providers to create unique, powerful websites that grow their unique businesses. She loves walks on the beach, reading by the fire, and WordPress tutorials. She lives in Sammamish with her husband, daughter, and the obligatory, work-from-home cat.

Andrew is a security consultant, free software enthusiast, and progressive activist who has been working with WordPress since 2006. His security consulting practice specializes in unhacking and securing compromised WordPress sites. He has been involved in the Seattle WordPress community since 2011 as a speaker, volunteer, WordCamp organizer, and meetup participant.  Andrew is active in progressive politics and created the Northwest Progressive Institute to raise our region and nation’s quality of life through insightful research and imaginative advocacy. His interests include hiking, travel, and photography.

Ian is a plugin developer who loves punk rock and ice cream.

Larry is a long-time publisher of both old-fashioned books and newfangled websites (all on WordPress, of course). He currently publishes, writes, and speaks on office fitness and the active office at Well9to5. In addition to his work as the sponsor wrangler for WordCamp Seattle, he volunteers for many other Seattle community events, including Ignite Seattle, the Moisture Festival, and Seattle Empty Bowls.

Brooke has been using WordPress since 2007. Prior to her current job as a Happiness Engineer at Automattic, Brooke was a freelance WordPress developer.

Dipti is a Technology Entrepreneur, who wants to make the life of small and medium businesses easier by providing technology solutions through IY Technology. She is a computer science graduate, and started her company after realizing the need for technical and designing skills among businesses. She started her career with WordPress and in a short span of time added mobiles application development to her portfolio. In addition to her work as a volunteer wrangler for Word Camp Seattle, she volunteered to design Word Camp 2016 Logo. When she is not working for IY she spends her time with IY because IY represents the name of her twin kids Ikshita and Yashas.
