WordCamp Seattle is organized, planned, and run entirely by volunteers<\/strong> (and paid for by our amazing sponsors). We need your help to create an outstanding experience for 2019.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

We need volunteers<\/strong> to help with:<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
    \r\n
  • \u201cHappiness Bar\u201d<\/strong> tech support<\/li>\r\n
  • Registration<\/strong> \u2013 Greet attendees at the registration booth and provide them with swag.<\/li>\r\n
  • Presentation rooms (general)<\/strong> \u2013 Help speakers set up and make sure everything runs smoothly in the presentation rooms.<\/li>\r\n
  • Speaker Introduction – <\/strong>Help us hype our awesome speakers with a (pre-written for you) introduction.<\/li>\r\n
  • Setup and tear down<\/strong> \u2013 Would you like to have the whole day to listen to speakers and chat with fellow attendees? Sign up for setup and tear down! We\u2019d love to have help before and after!<\/li>\r\n
  • Runners\/Floating Support<\/strong> \u2013 Be an information resource for attendees and know where to route any questions you can\u2019t answer.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    We welcome anyone to apply to volunteer<\/strong>, regardless of ability!<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    Our only requirement is that you are available and can be at the Washington State Conference Center on November 9 and 10, 2019.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

    Volunteers<\/strong> will be asked for a commitment of four hours of time. (You get bonus points for signing up for even more!) If there are specific talks you want to see, please let us know which ones and we will make that happen.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
