He\u2019s the author of\u00a0six books, including \u00a0The Myths of Innovation, \u00a0Confessions of a Public Speaker, and\u00a0The Year Without Pants.<\/p>\n<p>Born and raised in Queens, NYC, he studied philosophy, computer science and design at\u00a0CMU, was a manager at Microsoft (\u201994-\u201903) and WordPress.com (\u201910-\u201912), and taught\u00a0creativity at the University of Washington.
