From someone who&#8217;s never used WordPress, to a developer who has written much of the code behind the platform, WordCamp is meant to be accesible to all, no matter your skill level or background. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For those that write code (often coined &#8220;developers&#8221;), WordCamp often isn&#8217;t the best venue for hands on application of the coding concepts discussed. In order to take advantage of having so many great developers in Seattle at the same time, we are hosting an informal &#8220;Developer Day&#8221; Sunday June 9th, the day after WordCamp.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1793\" alt=\"event-space\" src=\"https:\/\/2013.seattle.wordcamp.org\/files\/2013\/05\/event-space.jpg\" width=\"960\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/seattle.wordcamp.org\/2013\/files\/2013\/05\/event-space.jpg 960w, https:\/\/seattle.wordcamp.org\/2013\/files\/2013\/05\/event-space-300x93.jpg 300w, https:\/\/seattle.wordcamp.org\/2013\/files\/2013\/05\/event-space-624x195.jpg 624w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The developer day will be an open, informal gathering aimed at providing a more &#8220;hands on&#8221; opportunity to share, learn, and apply concepts talked about at WordCamp. Potential activities include:<\/p>\n<p>1.
